Mahoba. Under the auspices of Gramonnati Sansthan certificates were distributed to the members of women self help group and a dozen literate women of Tara Akshar Kendra, after the literacy programme run under the PACS project.
On this occasion, the programme director, Dr Arvind Khare, said that a programme was being run to impart education to women by the help of laptop computers under PACS project, with the support of FORRAD and Development Alternatives, New Delhi. He said that the goal of this programme was to impart education to women and that after being educated the women of the self help group would be able to keep records themselves.
The certificates were given to Ms Antarkunvar, Maya, Gendarani, Punia, Sunita, Shantidevi, Sarita, Imma, Annu, Kaushalya, Priti and Durji.
Master trainer Indel Prasad, quality controller Brajesh Kumar, in-charge of Tara Akshar Kendra Vibhari Gupta and Gramonnati Sansthan’s Rajendra Kumar Nigam were present on the occasion.
